Talking Hangul - Learn Korean Privacy Policy
Talking Hangul - Learn Korean (hereinafter "Talking Hangul") does not require account creation, payment information, or location data. The app processes user input locally on the device and may use anonymous diagnostic information for service improvement and error analysis.
1. Information collected
By default, Talking Hangul does not collect the following information:
- Name, email, phone number, or other personal identifiers
- Precise location information
- Payment or account information
- Contact list or address book data
To improve stability and user experience, the app may use Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, and PostHog. These services may process anonymous usage statistics, app launch events, crash/error logs, device information, app version, OS version, and language information.
2. Purpose of collection
Collected data is used only for the following purposes:
- App stability and bug fixing
- User experience improvement and feature validation
- Usage analytics and service optimization
- Remote settings and guidance content
3. Device-side processing
Text, images, scanned results, settings, and local work history are processed on the device. This information is not automatically sent to a server unless you explicitly use a cloud-connected feature, and it can be removed or reset through your app settings or by reinstalling the app.
4. Third-party services
Talking Hangul may use third-party services such as Firebase and PostHog for analytics, crash reporting, and remote configuration. These services are subject to their own privacy policies.
5. Remote configuration
Where applicable, Firebase Remote Config may be used to deliver feature flags, guidance messages, or app settings. This may involve anonymized device identifiers, app version, OS information, and language data.
6. Storage and deletion
The app does not maintain account-based user profiles, payment records, or personal contact information. Usage logs and analytics data are retained only as needed for maintenance and improvement.
